About The Position

The Bell Ringer supports The Salvation Army Christmas Program by ringing bells at assigned locations and ensuring the kettle is never left unattended. The role involves greeting the public in a courteous and friendly manner and conducting duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s ministry and Christian principles. This seasonal role is scheduled between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for 25–30 hours per week, from November 16 through December 24. Work is performed outdoors and primarily standing, with brief or occasional periods of sitting or walking.

Requirements

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to stand in one location for extended periods outdoors and in varying weather conditions, with breaks and lunch periods as required by state law.
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, protocol, and Christian principles.
• No formal education or experience requirements.
