About The Position

As a Bell Attendant/Guest Services team member at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, you will serve as an ambassador for the resort and help create a welcoming first impression. You will assist guests with their needs upon arrival and departure, support a smooth check-in and check-out experience, and help foster a friendly atmosphere. The work is performed primarily outdoors and in the front lobby, and involves regularly driving throughout the property in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods; the qualifications mention lifting up to 50 lbs, and the physical demands section says lifting items up to 100 lbs as needed.
• Friendly, positive demeanor and genuine desire to help others.
• Proficiency in English.

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
• Additional language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with their immediate needs.
• Bid guests farewell at departure and help ensure a positive final impression.
• Handle, store, and retrieve guest luggage carefully and efficiently during check-in and check-out.
• Provide information about resort amenities, activities, dining options, and directions around the property and local area.
• Monitor guest safety and security and report unusual activity or safety hazards.
• Escort guests to their rooms upon request and briefly explain room amenities and resort services.
• Deliver special requests, including mail, packages, or room service orders, to guest rooms courteously and promptly.
• Coordinate with the front desk and other departments, communicating guest needs and preferences.
