About The Position

The Belk Selling Specialist delivers a positive customer experience as a subject matter expert in a dedicated department or key selling area while maintaining presentations aligned with brand standards. This hourly position drives sales and store key metric performance through excellent service, relationship building, clienteling, product recommendations, and promotion of merchandise and brands. The position is eligible for a monthly bonus.

Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.

Use selling tools and digital devices to support a seamless omnichannel experience and communicate inventory, assortment, and product features and benefits.
Use brand guides and training materials to build product knowledge, apply selling techniques, and make styling suggestions.
Encourage repeat client interactions as a knowledgeable and trusted resource.
Maintain appealing selling areas, merchandise presentation standards, accurate signage, fitting rooms, and cleanliness through daily recovery and stock replenishment.
Align presentations with visual merchandising directives and brand standards.
Execute promotions, special events, and customer outreach to maximize performance and support department and store success.
Contribute to a positive store culture by building teammate connections, sharing knowledge, and celebrating achievements.
Support store fulfillment and asset protection by accurately and efficiently performing omni and operations processes, maintaining product protection standards, and following safety and security protocols.
