About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to support its medical and clinical teams at its Louisiana residential treatment facility. The facility provides inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation and withdrawal management in a homelike setting, with round-the-clock care. Technicians help create a safe, welcoming recovery environment and contribute to the daily operation of the center.

Requirements

• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• For applicants in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phone coverage.
• Engage with clients and build rapport to create a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce Avenues policies to help ensure the safety of clients and staff.
• Record and escalate critical communications and incidents in a timely manner.
• Complete administrative duties, including shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support.
