About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the day shift (7 a.m.–3 p.m.) at its newest inpatient rehabilitation center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The role supports daily residential operations and helps maintain a positive, recovery-focused environment for clients. Avenues Recovery Center operates a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers and offers detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and CPR certification are preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required; the posting's statement is incomplete.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, empathetic personality and the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the Behavioral Health Technician team in its operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale while maintaining a warm, positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and Behavioral Health Technicians comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
