About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the third shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., at its detox and residential treatment facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role supports daily residential operations and client care, helps train and support the BHT team, and contributes to a warm, positive recovery environment. Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers with 18 locations across seven states and programs spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• For candidates in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale while maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
