About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts at its detox and residential treatment facility in South Bend, Indiana. Behavioral Health Technicians manage daily residential operations, support and train the BHT team, monitor client engagement and morale, and help maintain a positive recovery environment. They ensure clients and staff follow Avenues rules, policies, and procedures, and escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in its operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
