Behavioral Health Technicians
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the day shift (7 a.m.–3 p.m.) at its newest inpatient rehabilitation center in Fort Collins, Colorado. Avenues is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers with 18 locations across seven states. Its programs include detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services, and its care is based on an evidence-based clinical curriculum and individualized treatment. Behavioral Health Technicians manage daily residential operations, train and support the BHT team, escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician, oversee client engagement and morale, maintain a positive recovery environment, and ensure clients and staff comply with Avenues policies and procedures. Requirements
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Warm, empathetic personality and ability to set firm boundaries.
- Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.
- If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
- Train and support the Behavioral Health Technician team in operations and responsibilities.
- Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
- Oversee client engagement and morale while maintaining a warm, positive recovery environment.
- Ensure clients and Behavioral Health Technicians comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
