Behavioral Health Technician BHT - Pediatrics - Nights
About The Position
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to provide individualized, patient-centered support to pediatric behavioral health patients and their families. This per-diem position is on the night shift and offers the opportunity to gain experience in pediatric behavioral healthcare as part of a collaborative healthcare team. The technician works under the supervision of an interdisciplinary team to support patient-specific diagnoses and interventions, document essential patient information and behavioral data, and support individualized plans of care. The role also helps patients with socially complex needs and contributes to a supportive care experience throughout the night shift.
Requirements
- A four-year bachelor's degree, or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Relevant experience.
- BLS certification.
- Computer skills, including use and navigation.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
