About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for its Dublin, New Hampshire location. The role supports the daily operation of a residential recovery program and helps maintain a warm, positive environment for clients. The technician trains and supports the BHT team, monitors client engagement and morale, and escalates concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician. The role also helps ensure clients and staff follow Avenues’ rules, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale while maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with Avenues’ rules, policies, and procedures.
