About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for its Dublin, New Hampshire location. Avenues Recovery Center operates a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers offering detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The technician supports daily residential operations, the BHT team, and client engagement while helping maintain a positive recovery environment and compliance with Avenues policies.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
- Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.
- If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
- Train and support the BHT team in its operations and responsibilities.
- Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
- Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
- Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
