About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for its Dublin, New Hampshire location. The role supports daily residential operations at an addiction treatment center and helps maintain a warm, positive recovery environment. The technician oversees client engagement and morale, supports and trains the BHT team, and ensures clients and staff follow Avenues rules, policies, and procedures. Concerns or crises are escalated to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale while maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
