About The Position

Strategies to Empower People is seeking a full-time Behavioral Case Supervisor for their Supported Living Services in the Santa Rosa area. This role involves direct work with adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and provides supervision, training, and development for direct support staff. The position emphasizes field-based work, with approximately 75% of the time spent face-to-face with clients and their staff, and 25% dedicated to administrative tasks such as documentation and auditing. The Behavioral Case Supervisor will support a caseload of clients, develop and implement plans to meet client goals, celebrate successes, and foster community connections. This is not an office-bound position; the supervisor is the primary point of contact for field staff and must be accessible to clients and staff during the work week. The role requires supporting individuals who utilize American Sign Language.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of experience working with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD population).
  • A solid understanding of the I/DD population and its needs.
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • At least one (1) year of budgetary/finance experience.
  • Computer and database system aptitude.
  • Aptitude with using different systems.
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written/typed).
  • Licensed and insured driver.
  • Clean driving record (no excessive points, no DUIs/wet-and-reckless in the past 10 years).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supervising staff (not individuals with disabilities).
  • Experience providing In-Home Support Services (this is not considered supervision).

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for a caseload of clients.
