Behavior Technician (RBT / BT) - Katy, TX
About The Position
Great Strides ABA is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to support children in the autism community. The role involves delivering ABA therapy and helping children grow, learn, and succeed across home, school, and center-based settings. Technicians work under BCBA supervision, follow individualized behavior intervention plans, document sessions, and communicate with families and supervising clinicians. The position offers flexible scheduling, professional development assistance, RBT certification support, and opportunities to advance to a BCBA supervision track.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- RBT certification.
- Experience with ABA data collection and session documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under multiple demands and frequent interruptions.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for supporting the autism community.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of experience working with children.
Responsibilities
- Implement ABA therapy programs under BCBA supervision across home, school, and center-based settings.
- Collect accurate session data and enter documentation into Rethink within 24 hours of each session.
- Maintain consistent fidelity to individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Participate in the 7-day and 30-day new-hire check-in process.
- Communicate professionally with families and report observations to the supervising BCBA.
