Behavior Technician (Paid RBT Training) – Urgently Hiring
About The Position
Galliant is urgently hiring entry-level Behavior Technicians for its Ennis clinic to provide compassionate, one-on-one therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. No prior ABA or healthcare experience is required. Galliant provides paid training and covers course materials and national BACB exam fees for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential within the first eight weeks. This is a full-time, clinic-based role with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM. Occasional team meetings may extend the day to 5:00 PM. Technicians work in one fully equipped clinic, under direct mentorship from BCBAs, and use an employer-provided tablet to record session metrics and progress notes. Starting pay is $17.00–$18.50 per hour, with compensation and performance reviews every six months.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the Ennis clinic.
- Comfort with sitting on the floor, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and moving quickly to engage children safely.
- Reliability, high energy, and commitment to neurodiversity-affirming care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-on-one care to children in a structured clinic environment.
- Deliver compassionate, assent-based therapy to support functional communication, daily living skills, and social engagement while reducing challenging behaviors.
- Use an employer-provided tablet to record session metrics and objective daily progress notes in real time.
- Create a fun, positive learning environment tailored to each child's individual care plan.
