Behavior Technician (Paid RBT Training) – Urgently Hiring
About The Position
Galliant is urgently hiring entry-level Behavior Technicians for its Waxahachie clinic to provide compassionate, one-on-one therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). No prior ABA experience is required. Galliant provides paid training and covers course materials and national BACB exam fees for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential within the first eight weeks. The position is clinic-based, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM. Employees work in one collaborative, fully equipped clinic, with no travel between client homes. Occasional team meetings may extend the workday to 5:00 PM. Behavior Technicians receive direct clinical mentorship from BCBAs and work in a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming community. Starting pay is $18.00–$19.00 per hour, with compensation and performance reviews every six months and opportunities for career progression. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for the daily commute to the Waxahachie clinic.
- Comfort with sitting on the floor, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and moving quickly to engage children safely.
- Reliability, high energy, and commitment to neurodiversity-affirming care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, one-on-one therapy to children in a structured clinic environment.
- Use compassionate, assent-based therapy to build functional communication, daily living skills, and social engagement while reducing challenging behaviors.
- Use an employer-provided tablet to record session metrics and objective daily progress notes in real time.
- Create a fun, positive learning environment tailored to each child's individual care plan.
