Behavior Technician- ABA Therapy
About The Position
The Behavior Technician provides in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in Ventura County, including Santa Paula and Oxnard, California. The role helps children develop communication, social, and daily living skills while working directly with children and families. No prior ABA experience is required. The employer provides comprehensive paid training, ongoing mentorship, and support for RBT certification, along with opportunities for professional growth. Compensation is $21 per hour during training and $25–$28 per hour after training, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a part-time role with afternoon sessions Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, delivered in children’s homes.
Requirements
- A passion for working with children and helping others.
- Availability Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Reliable transportation.
- A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
