Behavior Technician – ABA Therapy
About The Position
The Behavior Technician provides in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in Santa Clara County, including San José and Mountain View. The role supports children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills through direct work with children and families. No prior ABA experience is required. The employer provides comprehensive paid training, ongoing mentorship, and support for RBT certification. The position is part-time, with afternoon sessions Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Compensation is $21 per hour during training and $25–$28 per hour after training, depending on qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Passion for working with children and helping others.
- Availability Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Prior ABA experience is not required; paid training is provided.
- RBT certification support, mentorship, and professional development are provided.
