Alora Behavioral Health is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians in California to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. Technicians help clients build communication, social, behavioral, and everyday living skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or clinical supervisor. Services may be provided in clients’ homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other assigned settings. Paid training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development are provided; prior ABA experience is not required. The role offers a structured career-development pathway, with potential advancement to Lead, Senior, and Specialist Behavior Technician positions. Eligible employees may receive reimbursement for RBT examination expenses after passing the exam, according to company policy, and qualifying employees may have access to BCBA supervision hours. This is a part-time position requiring at least 15 hours of availability per week within an approved schedule block. Client sessions are primarily in the afternoons and evenings, with typical weekday hours of 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM; some schedules include weekends. Candidates should be able to maintain a consistent agreed-upon schedule for at least six months. Actual scheduled hours depend on client needs and availability and are not guaranteed. Pay for direct client services is $21.00–$25.00 per hour; paid training is compensated at a separate rate disclosed during hiring.
