ABA Therapy Behavior Technician - In Clinic
About The Position
As an ABA Therapy Behavior Technician, you will help young children with Autism build skills through Applied Behavior Analysis at a clinic in Covington, Louisiana. This entry-level, full-time role involves carrying out treatment plans through energetic, encouraging therapy sessions. You will work one-on-one with children ages 2–6 in a lively clinic setting, keeping sessions playful and purposeful while following each child’s individualized plan. The work supports communication, social connection, daily living routines, and early learning goals. The role is hands-on and fast-moving, with movement such as floor play, transitions, and interactive learning activities.
Requirements
- Experience working with small children is required.
- Enthusiasm, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Dependability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:15–4:15.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ABA therapy sessions as outlined by individualized programs.
- Track and record data accurately during sessions.
- Use positive reinforcement to build motivation and momentum.
- Partner with the clinical team to support consistent, high-quality care.
- Work one-on-one with children ages 2–6 and follow each child’s plan.
- Capture real-time notes and data during sessions.
- Help children practice communication, social connection, daily living routines, and early learning goals.
