About The Position

INTERCARE is hiring entry-level Behavior Interventionists in the greater Inland Empire. The role involves providing in-home behavioral intervention to children affected by autism and their families, with travel to clients’ homes and community settings as needed. The employer provides paid training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), ongoing supervision and support, and opportunities for career advancement. Hours are flexible and variable; the posting describes part-time, part-time-to-full-time, and full-time options, with afternoon or early-evening availability sought. Service areas include Chino, Jurupa Valley, Riverside, Norco, Corona, Woodcrest, and surrounding areas. Compensation is $19.25–$23.00 per hour.

Requirements

Meet one of the following education criteria: high school diploma with at least one completed college course; high school diploma and current college enrollment; or an associate or bachelor’s degree.
Show a strong interest in working with children.
Be available in the afternoon or early evening.
Have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance.
Provide proof of immunization records and TB screening.
Complete a background check.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including carrying up to 50 pounds and sustained physical exertion for up to 45 minutes.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with children is preferred.
Bilingual skills are a plus but are not required.
Experience in fields such as behavior analysis, autism services, social learning, psychology, social services, childcare, education, behavioral health, caregiving, coaching, or working with children is encouraged.
