About The Position

INTERCARE is hiring a Behavior Interventionist Specialist to support children with autism as they learn and develop in everyday environments through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This part-time role provides one-to-one services in clients’ homes and clinic settings, as well as in local community locations. The position offers a flexible schedule with opportunities to work mornings, afternoons, and early evenings, and includes paid training, ongoing supervision, paid drive time, and mileage reimbursement. Candidates must have a completed bachelor’s degree, two years of ABA experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally. The role is active and involves standing, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 pounds while engaging with children. COVID-19 vaccination may be required under applicable California Department of Health guidelines or requirements of Intercare funding sources.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of ABA experience.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
• Comfort with local travel to nearby client locations within a 20- to 40-mile radius.
• Ability to perform active physical work, including standing, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.
