About The Position

INTERCARE is hiring a Behavior Interventionist Specialist to support children with autism as they learn and develop in everyday environments using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The role provides one-to-one services in clients’ homes and clinic settings, as well as at local community locations. The specialist helps children develop communication, social, and daily living skills, collaborates with families and supervisors to support consistent progress, and maintains a safe, engaging, supportive environment.

This is a part-time position in Natomas, California, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to work mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. The role requires local travel within approximately a 20-to-40-mile radius. Pay is $24.00–$28.00 per hour. Physical activity includes standing, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree.
• Two years of ABA experience.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
• Comfort with local travel to nearby client locations within a 20-to-40-mile radius.
• Physical ability to stand, kneel, run, and lift up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.
