About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is hiring Group Leaders for its before- and after-school programs for the 2026/2027 school year at Warren Elementary Schools. The programs provide extended-day activities designed to engage students in a fun and safe environment. Group Leaders lead students through daily curriculum activities, help ensure their safety, maintain an organized space, foster an inclusive and supportive environment, and build relationships with children, families, teammates, and school staff. The role offers hands-on experience and training for people interested in education, leadership, or related fields.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Enjoy working with children in a structured, high-energy environment.
• Take child safety seriously and follow procedures closely.
• Be flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.

Nice To Haves

• Studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Recreation, or Youth Development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
• Make child safety the top priority and follow procedures closely.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
