About The Position

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. The Group Leader helps shape meaningful before- and after-school experiences that help children learn, grow, and thrive.

This role is based at listed sites in Kenton/Independence, Kentucky, and includes AM hours from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and afternoon hours from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The employee must be able to work both shifts. Pay is $15.00 per hour, with a $200 hiring bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Six months of school-age experience.
• Ability to work both the 7:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m. shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
