About The Position
AlphaBEST Education is hiring a part-time Before and After School Group Leader at Vanguard Schools (Upper) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role supports extended-day enrichment programs that help students discover and learn beyond the school day. Group Leaders lead students through activities in fitness, the arts, technology, and other areas, while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and positive relationships in a caring, family-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a minimum of 455 verifiable hours of experience working with children ages 4 and older.
- Provide proof of experience, including verification of hours, as required by Colorado childcare licensing regulations.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through activities and adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and other areas.
- Work collaboratively with peers to encourage children's sense of wonder.
- Build on students' interests and talents to foster creativity and intellectual curiosity.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment that fosters positive relationships among staff, children, and parents.
