Beer Technician

About The Position

As a Draft Beer Quality Technician (DQT), you help local bars and restaurants serve high-quality draft beer. You visit customer locations to clean and maintain draft beer systems and ensure they serve great beer, while building relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders. No previous experience is required; training is provided in draft beer system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no nights or weekends and regular overtime opportunities. A company vehicle, with gas, maintenance, and insurance provided, is used for transportation.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Able to lift more than 50 pounds.
Hands-on and a quick learner.

Responsibilities

Visit customer locations to clean and maintain draft beer systems.
Help ensure customers serve high-quality draft beer.
Build relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders.
Complete assigned routes and/or duties during each bi-weekly line-cleaning cycle.
