Beer Technician
About The Position
As a Draft Beer Quality Technician (DQT), you ensure local bars and restaurants serve high-quality draft beer. The role involves visiting customer locations to clean and maintain draft beer systems, help ensure they serve great beer, and build relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders. Training is provided in draft beer system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting; previous experience is not required. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Regular overtime opportunities are available. The company provides a vehicle, with gas, maintenance, and insurance covered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Hands-on and a quick learner.
Responsibilities
- Visit customer locations to clean and maintain draft beer systems.
- Help ensure bars and restaurants serve high-quality draft beer.
- Build relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders.
- Complete assigned routes and/or duties during bi-weekly line-cleaning cycles.
