About The Position

The Vendor Paid Stock Colleague supports the flow of new merchandise for the CHANEL Beaute brand, completes operational tasks as needed, and assists with fulfillment and other duties. The role includes shipment processing, stocking and replenishment, inventory support, stockroom upkeep, and maintaining store readiness while providing customer service. The position is seasonal and located at Macy’s Garden State Plaza.

Requirements

• No education or experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds; stand for at least two consecutive hours; and perform frequent movement, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in POS and MPOS systems.
• Assist customers who are using devices to shop and compare.
• Provide exceptional customer service to digital and in-store customers, making appropriate partnerships when necessary.
• Complete the general shipment process according to productivity standards and ensure floor readiness.
• Assist the CSX Manager with moving case line assortments for new products and seasonal changes.
• Assist with replenishing stock on the sales floor.
• Assist in the inventory process.
• Participate in stockroom maintenance, organization, and housekeeping.
• Process damages, transfers, and return-to-vendor merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, neat, easy-to-shop store environment and high customer-readiness standards.
• Follow shortage programs and procedures related to receiving.
• Adhere to Asset Protection, inventory-control, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster acceptance and respect and strengthen relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
