About The Position

The Vendor Paid Stock Colleague is responsible for merchandise flow for the brand, including shipment processing, replenishment, inventory tasks, and stockroom upkeep. The colleague also supports fulfillment, customer service, and other operational duties as needed. The position is seasonal and is based at the CHANEL Beaute location in Westfield Valley Fair.

Requirements

• No education or experience is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse customers and peers.
• Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds; stand for at least two consecutive hours; and perform frequent moving, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and the ability to process register transactions.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in POS and MPOS systems.
• Assist customers using devices to shop and compare products.
• Provide customer service across the store and support digital and in-store customers, partnering with others when needed.
• Process shipments according to productivity standards and ensure merchandise is ready for the sales floor.
• Assist the CSX Manager with moving case-line assortments for new products and seasonal changes.
• Replenish stock on the sales floor.
• Assist with inventory processes.
• Maintain stockroom organization, housekeeping, and upkeep.
• Process damaged merchandise, transfers, and returns to vendors.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and easy-to-shop store environment.
• Follow shortage-prevention programs and procedures related to receiving.
• Follow asset protection, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
• Perform fulfillment and other operational duties as needed.
