About The Position

The Seasonal Beauty Stock Associate (Vendor Paid Stock Colleague) supports the flow of new merchandise for the CHANEL Beaute brand at Macy’s Glendale Galleria. The role includes processing and replenishing merchandise, supporting fulfillment and inventory operations, maintaining the stockroom and sales floor, and completing other operational tasks as needed. The colleague also provides customer service and helps maintain an inclusive, clean, and easy-to-shop store environment.

Requirements

No education or experience required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds; stand for at least two consecutive hours; and perform frequent moving, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.

Responsibilities

Use POS and MPOS systems proficiently.
Assist customers using devices to shop and compare products.
Provide exceptional service to digital and in-store customers, partnering with others when appropriate.
Process incoming shipments according to productivity standards and ensure the sales floor is ready.
Assist the CSX Manager with moving case-line assortment for new products and seasonal changes.
Replenish stock on the sales floor.
Participate in inventory processes.
Maintain stockroom organization, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Process damaged merchandise, transfers, and returns to vendors.
Maintain a clean, neat, and easy-to-shop store environment.
Follow shortage-prevention programs and procedures related to receiving.
Adhere to asset protection, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
Complete fulfillment and other operational duties as necessary.
