About The Position

The Beauty Lead provides customers with a personalized shopping experience by using beauty product knowledge and the Connect, Inspire, Engage service model. The role prioritizes sales and customer service while supporting consistent department operations. The Beauty Lead also assists with beauty promotions and events, store operations, inventory preparation, and onboarding and training associates on beauty procedures.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers, identify their needs, share product knowledge, and help them make purchasing decisions, including by offering mini services, application techniques, and suggestions for additional products.
• Work to meet and exceed performance, productivity, and sales goals.
• Promote customer loyalty through service and promotion of FindMore, gift cards, rewards and credit programs, promotions, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Listen to customer concerns professionally and offer options, solutions, and next steps.
• Perform point-of-sale activities, including sales, returns, exchanges, line management, re-ticketing, and return processing.
• Facilitate beauty department promotions and events and assist leaders in meeting standards and goals.
• Replenish products from shipments, stockrooms, and understock; maintain core standards; manage product testers; and recover the sales floor to keep it organized, clean, and hygienic.
• Prepare for inventory processes, including cycle counts, stock ledger updates, RFID scans, and annual inventory.
• Assist the operations team with pricing, signing, and merchandising processes and standards.
• Help onboard and train or cross-train store associates on beauty procedures and processes.
• Participate in ongoing skills development through company- or vendor-provided training and practice.
