About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a sales-oriented Beauty Consultant to provide personalized, knowledgeable service to customers in the store’s beauty zone. The consultant acts as a primary beauty advisor, shares product knowledge and current beauty trends, recommends products, and builds customer relationships and sales through attentive service, upselling, and follow-up. The role includes educating customers on product use and benefits, participating in sales programs and events, maintaining displays and promotional materials, and keeping the assigned area stocked, clean, and compliant with hygiene and sanitation requirements. Consultants complete onboarding and ongoing training, follow company policies, work toward sales goals, and maintain a professional appearance. The position requires the ability and willingness to perform ear-piercing services; training and certification are provided. Some CVS stores require bilingual English-Spanish advisors. This is a full-time position with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $17.00–$26.00 per hour, with the actual offer dependent on factors including experience, education, and geography. Requirements

Sales-oriented.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and quickly learn new procedures.
Availability to work a flexible retail schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and peak hours.

Ability and willingness to perform ear-piercing services; training and certification are provided.
At least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, personalized sales service and beauty advice based on each customer’s needs.
Engage customers in conversation, recommend products, and use upselling and suggestive selling to build sales and lasting relationships.
Answer customer questions with detailed product and brand knowledge.
Educate customers about product use and benefits and use the beauty sampling program to build customer relationships.
Participate in company sales programs, promotions, and in-store events, including explaining CVS Beauty Club programs.
Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and beauty promotional materials.
Keep the assigned beauty area stocked, well-merchandised, clean, and compliant with hygiene standards.
Follow tester sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool-cleansing policies.
Complete onboarding and ongoing training and follow company policies and guidelines.
Execute the established sales plan, meet sales budgets, and track progress toward goals.
Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls about promotions, products, sales goals, and customer care.
Maintain a professional appearance and stay current on beauty trends, techniques, products, and customer service skills.
Perform ear-piercing services after receiving company-provided training and certification.
