About The Position
The Beauty Concierge is detail oriented, results driven, and committed to providing outstanding customer service. The role greets and directs customers, assists with cosmetic inquiries, products, and other services, and provides information and directions based on knowledge of the cosmetics area. The Beauty Concierge supports store operations as a general resource for customers and employees, maintains confidentiality, and makes deliveries to customers. The position requires continuous movement and regular handling and lifting of merchandise. The listed hourly pay range is $21.00–$21.85; offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Requirements
- Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers.
- Suggestively sell and connect customers to salespeople.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Move continuously for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
- Frequently use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
