About The Position
The Restaurant Host at Bazille is responsible for welcoming and seating customers promptly and professionally, sharing knowledge and enthusiasm about the restaurant’s menu and products, and helping create an outstanding customer experience. The role also supports new employee training by reinforcing successful performance and providing assistance as needed. Hosts may be asked to help in other restaurant areas, including answering phones, processing financial transactions, stocking, cleanup, and documentation. Hours and schedules vary by week according to business needs.
Requirements
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of food service or hospitality experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers quickly and professionally.

- Support other restaurant areas as requested, including answering telephones, completing financial transactions, stock work, cleanup, and documentation.
