About The Position

The Beauty Advisor drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience through excellent service, relationship-building, product applications, and customized recommendations. The role calls for enthusiasm for the beauty and fragrance industry, competitive drive, and confidence in a fast-paced commission environment. This is an hourly, part-time position. The Beauty Advisor builds client loyalty through personalized consultations and product recommendations, supports promotions and sales goals, maintains product presentation and hygiene standards, and contributes to a positive team culture. The role also supports store fulfillment, operations, and asset protection as assigned.

Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to regularly move around all store areas and remain accessible to customers.
Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products, and to lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
Comfort with and enjoyment of assisting customers with makeup application and skincare services.
Maintain all required professional licenses and certifications, including state-specific demonstrator or cosmetology licenses when required by applicable state and local regulatory boards.

Responsibilities

Take ownership and initiative in achieving store objectives and personal and store key metrics.
Build genuine relationships with team members, vendors, customers, and the community to create memorable store experiences.
Deliver excellent service through personalized consultations, clienteling tools, and product recommendations tailored to clients’ needs and preferences.
Execute promotions, special events, and customer outreach to maximize performance and drive sales.
Use selling tools and digital devices to provide a seamless omnichannel experience and communicate inventory, assortment, and product details.
Use training tools, brand resources, and feedback to build product knowledge, suggestive selling behaviors, artistry skills, and familiarity with industry tips and beauty trends; encourage repeat client interactions.
Merchandise and replenish products promptly, and maintain visual merchandising, signing, and beauty hygiene standards in accordance with vendor and company directives.
Contribute to a positive store culture by connecting with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating individual and team achievements.
Adapt to changing circumstances and support selling and store operations by performing other assigned tasks.
Support store fulfillment and asset protection initiatives by accurately and efficiently completing omnichannel and operations processes, maintaining product protection standards, and following safety guidelines.
