About The Position

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor creates memorable shopping experiences for customers and helps guide them through their beauty needs, including hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. The position involves building customer relationships, recommending products, communicating promotions and loyalty-program information, processing transactions, merchandising the store, and maintaining a professional store environment. Sally Beauty provides product knowledge and training. A range of work schedules and hours is available.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Able to perform physical activities including prolonged standing and walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar movements; and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• The role involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally involve exposure to irritant chemicals, fumes, or odors.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about and enroll them in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.
