About The Position

Guerlain is hiring a full-time Beauty Advisor at Bloomingdale’s Tysons Corner. The role focuses on meeting retail sales and productivity goals by providing superior beauty and fragrance service, building client relationships, and encouraging repeat sales and brand loyalty. The advisor provides product information and consultations on cosmetics, skincare, makeup application, artistry, and fragrance, and supports in-store events. The position is based at an assigned retail location and reports to the Counter Manager or Business Manager.

Requirements

Ability to effectively manage customer expectations and build loyal customer relationships.
Excellent organizational skills.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
CRT experience and aptitude for learning to access computer-based inventory and order-status details.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office for Windows and Excel.
Availability that meets the needs of the business.
Ability to work in a retail environment, including light lifting and standing at a counter.

Responsibilities

Achieve retail sales goals and annual productivity goals.
Provide customer service, including product information, sales, and execution of in-store events.
Communicate with customers courteously, cordially, and professionally.
Keep the retail counter area and products clean, organized, and well-presented.
Meet retail sales plan objectives and track productivity as determined by the employer.
Respond to customer requests about Guerlain and its product lines.
Consult with customers on cosmetic shades, skin treatment, makeup application, artistry, and fragrance.
Resolve customer issues or questions by telephone, text, or email, including researching and preparing reply correspondence.
Maintain the client registration program, sustain customer relationships, and generate new business through regular communication.
Follow all retailer policies and practices.
Perform special projects, miscellaneous duties, and other job-related activities as business needs dictate.
