About The Position

Bettenhausen Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Ram of Tinley Park is seeking experienced Service BDC representatives to join its service team. This role handles incoming calls for service and parts, schedules and tracks customer appointments, and follows up with customers to support attendance and customer service. The representative also assists customers with recall information, loaner vehicle coordination, and parts availability, and makes outbound calls to parts customers. Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills.
• Friendly and enthusiastic disposition and a positive attitude.
• Ability to speak articulately.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of prior experience working within an automotive dealership.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls for the service and parts departments.
• Set appointments according to customers’ service or parts needs.
• Accurately track service and parts appointments using Reynolds & Reynolds, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs.
• Follow up with service customers and confirm appointments to help ensure they arrive as scheduled.
• Assist service customers with recall information, loaner vehicle coordination, and parts availability.
• Follow up with service survey customers who have not responded, using information provided by FIAT Chrysler Automobiles to help capture high customer service scores.
• Place outbound calls to parts customers to remind them to pick up their parts and schedule service appointments.
