About The Position
Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a weekend PRN position in Panama City, FL. This role involves providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members and their families, and veterans. The position is hourly and focuses on inpatient care for patients aged 12 and older. The schedule is for onsite rounding only on Saturdays and Sundays, approximately from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no call required. The hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited facility located in Panama City, FL.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Master’s level Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatry.
- PMHNP certification is required.
- Must have an active Florida license or the ability to obtain one.
- Must be willing to see patients aged 12 and older.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Perform medication management.
- Provide daily care for patients.
- Complete administrative duties related to patient care.
