About The Position

Hayward Laboratories is seeking a hard-working, full-time Batching Bulk Handler to assist in making Palmer's products. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour and up, based on experience. The role involves moving materials using appropriate equipment and processes, and weighing and documenting batches before and after production runs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and approved driver history report.
• One year of forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Check with the Batching lead or supervisor for priorities.
• Set up the first batch line on the production floor.
• Notify line supervisors and mechanics of product status changes, including batch number changes and bulk products brought to the line during shifts.
• Weigh all batches, including totes and drums, before and after production runs.
• Document gross, net, and tare weights on the back of the bulk movement ticket.
• Check product totes as needed and ensure they are properly sanitized before pumping.
• Heat and pump product to specification where necessary.
• Use powered industrial equipment to move totes to and from production and batching areas.
