About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and responsible Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe bar environment. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have the ability to take directions and effectively perform the work.
• Must have basic working knowledge of a cash register.
• Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees.
• Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to carry and lift at least 40 lbs., according to industry standards.

Nice To Haves

• Prior bartending experience is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take drink orders, and engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked with supplies, monitor inventory levels, and inform barbacks when supplies need to be replenished.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Provide recommendations on drink choices, engage in light conversation, and handle customer complaints or concerns politely and professionally.
• Set up bar before opening hours, ensuring all supplies and equipment are ready for service.
• Clean and organize the bar after closing.
