Bartender - Experience Required
About The Position
Topgolf is seeking a fun-loving, dedicated bartender to deliver excellent service and create memorable experiences for Players in a fast-paced, collaborative entertainment environment. The bartender welcomes guests, connects with them, recommends drinks, and promotes signature cocktails, shareable food, and game upgrades. The role also includes preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and maintaining a clean, stocked, safe, and compliant bar. Bartenders collaborate with other Playmakers to provide attentive service and support Topgolf’s values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring. This is an active, high-volume role that requires standing and walking for most of the shift, handling items weighing up to 50 pounds, and frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and carrying. Applicants must be at least the legal serving age in the jurisdiction of employment and maintain any responsible beverage-service certifications required by law.
Requirements
- Previous experience preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a high-energy restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment setting.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
- Strong focus on providing an excellent Player experience.
- Ability to remain calm in a busy, popular environment.
- Must be at least the legal serving age in the jurisdiction of employment.
- Must retain responsible beverage-service certifications where required by law.
- Ability to handle items weighing up to 50 pounds and to lift, bend, stoop, and carry.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift and remain active in a high-volume work environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet Players energetically and create a welcoming bar experience by connecting with them and learning what brings them in.
- Recommend drinks and upsell signature cocktails, shareable bites, and game upgrades.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Keep the bar neat, clean, stocked, and ready for service, including cleaning glassware.
- Collaborate with other Playmakers to deliver excellent service and help every Player feel valued.
- Follow safety and sanitation standards and keep the bar clean, safe, and compliant.
