About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Denver, Colorado. The officer will safeguard the property while supporting a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and contractors through visible security, customer service, and clear communication. The position pays $25.21 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management while following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor property access, verify visitor and contractor entry as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols, and document observations.
Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and promptly.
