About The Position
As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and responding professionally to site needs. You will provide customer service and clear communication while following site-specific policies, post orders, and applicable armed-officer requirements. This is a part-time position scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $27.32 per hour.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Texas Level III Armed Certification.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
- Licensing requirements may need to be met before employment, subject to applicable state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and follow armed-officer policies, post orders, and regulatory requirements.
