About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas. This part-time, driving patrol role involves safeguarding clients, maintaining a visible security presence, conducting armed patrols, responding to security concerns, and providing professional customer service. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $27.32 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and applicable emergency response activities.
- Conduct armed patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and support compliance with site-specific entry and exit procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
