About The Position

As an Armed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control and incident response. This driving post requires customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s culture and operating in accordance with site-specific procedures and policies.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, using authorized armed response procedures when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
