About The Position

As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas, you will safeguard clients through routine armed patrols, a visible security presence, area monitoring, and professional customer service. This is a driving post in a mission-focused environment. The position is full-time and pays $27.32 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Valid driver’s license, in accordance with company driver policy requirements.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation, as permitted by applicable law.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries; document observations and report irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Carry and maintain assigned duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policies, and site-specific procedures.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
