About The Position

Ocean Prime is seeking a Bartender to prepare and serve consistent, high-quality cocktails and food promptly while establishing positive guest relations and maintaining a clean, orderly bar. The role contributes to restaurant profitability by generating sales, following company recipes and portion standards, and ensuring correct payment for beverages served. Bartenders are expected to provide genuine hospitality, support their team, and follow restaurant standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present cocktails to company quality standards.
Adhere to portion standards to achieve planned product costs.
Report to work on time according to the work schedule and meet restaurant uniform requirements.
Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness during all work shifts.
Exemplify hospitality standards and answer guests’ questions about the restaurant.
Handle guest requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
Cooperate with management and coworkers and assist with duties when needed.
Communicate suggestions for improvement positively.
Follow national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
Report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
Know restaurant emergency procedures.
Perform assigned duties and maintain knowledge of standards and procedures in the associate handbook.
Generate sales, follow company recipes, and ensure correct payment for beverages served.
Maintain a clean, orderly bar.
