Gold Spike is a one-of-a-kind bar and nightlife venue. Featuring over-sized interactive games, special events, and great music. Formerly a hotel and casino, the historic Gold Spike has been re-imagined as Downtown Las Vegas’ premier adult playground. Open 24/7, Gold Spike offers ’round-the-clock options for drinking and fun.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one (1) year of prior bartending experience required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., kegs, liquor cases, ice)
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping behind the bar
• Repetitive use of hands and arms for pouring, shaking, and serving
• Comfortable working in a loud, dimly lit, and fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain high energy and professionalism.
• Must possess or be able to obtain the following valid work cards (as required by local/state laws): Alcohol Awareness Card (e.g., TAM ), Health Card / Food Handler’s Card, Sheriff’s Card

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service in an unconventional, but super fun bar setting.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the bar
• Interact professionally with guests to ensure a positive experience
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service practices
• Work collaboratively with team members, security, and management
